A Tapestry of Pride
Divine Weaver of All Creation,
You who spun galaxies and souls with equal
wonder,
We come before You in gratitude
For the radiant diversity of the LGBTQ+
community—
A living mosaic of identities,
Each one a sacred thread in the fabric of
humanity.
You made us in hues beyond the rainbow,
In bodies that dance to different rhythms,
In voices that speak many truths,
In loves that defy narrow definitions.
We celebrate the fullness of who we are:
Trans and nonbinary, lesbian and gay,
Bisexual, asexual, intersex, queer, questioning—
Each identity a reflection of Your infinite
creativity.
May we honor one another’s stories,
Uplift one another’s struggles,
And rejoice in one another’s joy.
Let no one be made to feel less than whole.
Let no voice be silenced.
Let no beauty be hidden.
In our diversity, may we find strength.
In our unity, may we find peace.
And in our shared humanity, may we find You.
