1. Federal Identity Documents
- Policies now restrict gender markers on federal identity documents (e.g., passports) to “biological sex at birth,” eliminating the option for an “X” gender marker.

2. Healthcare
- Orders promoting health equity and non-discrimination in healthcare have been rescinded.
- The Department of Veterans Affairs has begun reducing access to gender-affirming care.
- Some states have banned gender-affirming care for minors, with federal courts upholding these bans.

3. Education
- Federal orders promoting non-discrimination in schools have been rescinded.
- Funding is threatened for schools that include “gender ideology” in their curriculum.
- Title IX protections for transgender students have been reversed.
- States have enacted laws banning LGBTQ+ topics in classrooms and requiring parental notification for gender identity disclosures.
- LGBTQ+ books and inclusive curricula are being banned in schools and libraries.

4. Workplace Protections
- Project 2025 proposes narrowing the scope of Title VII protections for LGBTQ+ workers.
- A federal judge ruled that Title VII does not protect LGBTQ+ individuals from workplace harassment.
- EEOC guidance interpreting Title VII to protect LGBTQ+ workers has been vacated.

5. Language and Visibility
- LGBTQ+ history and resources have been removed from federal websites.
- Efforts are underway to eliminate LGBTQ+ terms from official communications and documents.

6. Military Service
- Policies have been introduced to separate gender-expansive service-members and prohibit their enlistment.

- It is expected to strike down state bans on conversion therapy, citing free speech concerns.

- Over 850 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced in 2025; 67 have passed in 21 states.
- These laws target healthcare, education, public accommodations, and more—especially transgender rights.

11. DEI and Public Services
